Forum Rules, Policies and Guidelines
In order to achieve the forum’s mission-vision statement, the moderating team devised policies and guidelines for everyone to follow:
I. Threads and Posts
1. Be Responsible in starting a thread/topic. Be specific and clear and make sure you provide enough information to warrant a discussion. If you got your
information from another source, make sure you give credit by putting the link (website) and the source name (newspaper, books, reading materials, etc).
2. Post new threads on the appropriate board. Topics/threads that do not belong to the posted forum will be moved accordingly.
3. Stay on the topic. Offtopic posts are discouraged but it's understood that there are cases when these can't be avoided. However, note that (a.) for
offtopic questions directed to another member, better use pm and (b.) for offtopic posts that have become an offtopic discussion among members, better
create another thread.
4. If a thread has been locked by the moderators, any new threads that attempt to continue the part of the discussion that caused the previous thread to be
locked will be deleted.
5. Posts that are accidentally or intentionally posted repeatedly will be deleted.
6. Profanity will not be tolerated. It is very likely that there are younger-age fans reading these boards. Keep it clean. That includes pictures and links.

7. One-word replies (like “OK”, “YEAH”, “YES”, “NO”, smiley, etc), are more appropriate in chat rooms. Users who do this normally just want to increase
their number of posts. In this case, moderators have no choice but to delete the reply. This is a forum where we would like to hear your sensible views regarding
a certain topic.
II. Layout
1. Please make sure you PREVIEW your message first before submitting it. Unfinished formatting ruins the substance if you forget to close the code tags.
2. Please avoid using large fonts on your signatures and if you are going to put a picture, please limit the file size to 20kb and the maximum height to 150
pixels. We will remove your picture in your signature in case you do not follow the set requirements. Click here

3. To ensure clarity of your post, avoid using “SMS or Text Language”. As much as possible, try to post in a paragraph layout with proper punctuation and
capitalization.
III. Privacy and Personal Attacks
1. Keep in mind - be respectful of other people when posting. Starting a new thread (or posting in a topic) with the purpose of bashing another poster will
not be allowed. Moderators determine when a post has crossed the line.
2. No racial, ethnic, or religious slams will be tolerated.
3. Posting disparaging remarks about players, coaches, teams and the league, when the topic does not call for it, to purposely raise the ire of other forum
members (flame bait) is not allowed.
4. Exercise open-mindedness. Expect other people to not agree with you. Expect other members to criticize the players and teams you support. Keep your cool. As
long as everything remains above the belt, don't take them personally.
5. Do not post negative information about a player, coach, or about the PBA that cannot be supported by an official source of some kind.
6. Players, coaches, and teams are fair game for constructive criticism. However, criticizing forum members for supporting players, coaches and teams
(most especially if they are relatives) is not tolerated.
7. Posting of any personal information about another poster that he/she has not previously posted on the board will not be tolerated. Posting of things that you
know to be false will not be allowed. If you want to start a vicious rumor about a coach, a player, or another poster, this is not the place to do it.
IV. Moderating Team
1. The moderators cannot be on the board 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Therefore, objectionable or offensive posts may not be removed immediately. If
you see an offensive post, you may report it by posting a message in the "Announcements, feedbacks and suggestions" forum. Participating in an offensive
topic/post will not be tolerated.
2. Any posts questioning the moderation of the board will be deleted. If you have question(s) regarding an edited or a deleted post/thread, do not take it up
with the moderators on the board. You may send a ‘PM’ (Personal Message) to one of the moderators to inquire for the reason(s).
V. General Penalties
1st Offense - Private Message (PM)
2nd Offense - First warning (33%)
3rd offense - Second warning (66%) - moderated posts
4th offense - Third warning (100%) - one week suspension OR indefinite
suspension of account

VI. Miscellaneous
Once you register and/or post in this forum, it means you agree to these rules and guidelines and understand the freedom and responsibilities you have as a
myPBA Feedbacker. You also understand the consequences if any of these rules are not followed.
